At the heart of it all, when you adopt--either for yourself or as a gift--you help us rescue helpless donkeys from hopeless situations.

With just a $4 monthly donation, you’ll receive a personal swag bag of cool stuff, info about donkeys, and your official, virtual adoption certificate.Your ongoing support helps us provide food and medicines, and pay for vets, shelter, and maintenance.
How your donations are used
Truth be told, no single adoption comes close to supplying everything a donkey needs, but it takes a village (or perhaps a herd) of supporters to keep them all safe and healthy. And we appreciate your generosity!

Each of our donkeys gets a hoof-trim every other month. We currently have 18 residents, so that adds up quickly.

Every spring, our vet team gives our donkeys check-ups and inoculations.

Dental maintenance can be another significant expense.

We grow our own hay, but three times a year, we need to hire extra hands to help with cutting and baling.

Dietary and salt supplements keep the donkeys’ menu balanced.

Donkey ‘toys’ keep the gang engaged and happy. Among their current fave items: old rain boots, kiddy pools, hula hoops, rubber chickens--or anything chewable, kickable, and/or chaseable!
